Allie Kallen's correction tape

My favorite stationery item is my BIC White-Out EZ Correct Correction Tape. I like to write on paper a lot, and I have a planner that I use every day. I am using it for my personal study use and to keep my notes for school organized and planned out. I individually am trying to learn a new language, Korean, outside of school. So, I take a lot of notes, since I am still new to it, I mess up a lot. Which is bound to happen no matter what subject I or any human writes about. Sometimes I’ll write the wrong character, or I will read something wrong, so I write it wrong. There are many ways for me to mess up. I always keep the correction tape near the materials and stationery I use for my Korean notes so that I don’t have to be worried about messing up. I study Korean at school, so my Korean materials stay in my backpack. This luckily means that my Korean notebook is always by my planner. Which makes it easy for me to pull out the correction tape whenever I mess up in my planner. One time I used a lot of correction tape was when I went through every assignment I would need to do for every class and wrote it down in my planner. I ended messed it up along the way and had to redo it. So, even though my planner still currently has about 1/3 of the lines filled with the correction tape, it makes it seem less messy than if I had just crossed out everything. I think it is also very useful for my planner if dates change for assignments, or if assignments get added but I used all of the room, so I can use the correction tape to make even more room or to go over something that I don’t need to do anymore.

I tend to use many stationery items as phone stands when at my desk. Things like tape dispensers, staple packages/staplers, sticky note pads, and really just anything that is strong enough to hold my phone up. I used to have a pop socket on my phone, but with my new case, I cannot put one on. So, I have to get creative when I want to stand my phone up. I’m usually watching or listening to something while doing work at my desk, which means I end up using stationery most of the time. I also have used stationery as weights to hold down books or posters. If I accidentally fold a page in a book, I use my stapler to hold it down for a day, or when I get rolled-up posters, I put assorted stationery items on the edges. I’ve used rules, folders, notebooks, pencil cases, and other items that are also flat. Lastly, I have used many ends of pens to reset controllers, toys, and anything else that has a small hole with a button in it. Pens have become very useful for those situations.
